A welcoming space for families
During the summer holidays, we noticed many clubs for families were closed, leaving fewer options for parents and their children. That's why we decided to open our playgroup for 0-12 year olds, offering a free space for families to enjoy. We understand the impact of the cost of living, so we only ask for a 50p donation if an adult would like a cup of tea, ensuring everyone feels welcome and supported.
Exciting activities for every child
Our playgroup is packed with a variety of engaging toys and activities to suit all ages. From baby bouncers for our littlest visitors to ride-on toys, ball pits, jigsaws, and even air hockey for older children, there's something for everyone. We also offer creative craft sessions and colouring activities to spark their imaginations and encourage artistic expression.
When and where to find us
Our playgroup takes place in the main church area, where we clear the chairs to create a lovely open space for children to play freely. Join us every Tuesday and Friday from 10am to 12pm throughout the summer holidays. We look forward to welcoming you and your little ones to Pontnewynydd Methodist Church.
Important information for your visit
We want to ensure your visit is as comfortable and convenient as possible. Our playgroup and all toilet facilities are fully accessible. We also provide baby changing facilities for parents, making it easier for you to care for your little ones during your time with us.
